OBJECTIVES

  1. Co-develop, test and evaluate Climate Smart Best Management Practices (BMPs) that have the potential to enhance soil carbon sequestration and/or reduce greenhouse gas emissions while providing a net positive economic impact to the farm enterprise.

  2. Identify readily available, Climate Smart Best Management Practices that have the potential to enhance soil carbon sequestration and/or reduce greenhouse gas emission while providing a net positive economic impact to the farm enterprise.

  3. Explore and promote new and innovative and/or modified BMPs, developed and/or fine-tuned at the living lab, that have the potential to:

    1. Enhance Soil Carbon Sequestration
    2. Reduce Greenhouse Gas emissions
    3. Protect and/or enhance biodiversity on-farm
    4. Improve water and soil quality metrics beyond the farm gate
